Important Update – March 28
Out of an unwavering commitment to the safety of our community, Indivisible Québec has made the difficult decision to cancel our planned March 28 gathering at Place du Canada in Montréal.
This decision was not taken lightly. Recent credible information raised concerns over about our ability to ensure a safe, secure, and fully prepared environment for all participants to protest peacefully and non-violently. From the very beginning, our movement has been rooted in peaceful, non-violent civic engagement — and safety remains a core, non-negotiable value in everything we do.
Standing Together in Ottawa
While we will not be gathering in Montréal, the call to stand up for democracy continues.
We invite all those who are able to join our sister chapter, Indivisible Ottawa, at their rally taking place in front of the U.S. Embassy.
To help make this possible, Indivisible Québec is coordinating carpooling efforts. Whether you are looking for a ride or are able to offer one, we encourage you to sign up so we can connect participants and ensure as many people as possible can take part:

Building Forward — Safely and Stronger
This is not a step back — it is a deliberate step forward.
We are already in preparation mode for upcoming actions, including two potential events in the coming months ahead of the next No Kings / No Tyrants mobilization. With each step, we are building the foundation needed to grow this movement responsibly, sustainably, and safely.
A key part of that foundation is people.
To ensure our future events remain peaceful, organized, and secure, we are actively building our team of Peace Ambassadors and Safety Wardens — volunteers trained in de-escalation who help maintain a safe space for all participants.
If you have experience in de-escalation techniques — or are at least willing to undergo de-escalation training and subsequently consider joining this important team — we invite you to join us:

Together, we are building more than events — we are building a movement grounded in safety, respect, and collective action.
Thank you for standing with us.
